Forepay is a golf scorecard and friend group settlement app built for personal use among friends. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about how we handle your data.

We do not collect your location beyond what is needed to suggest nearby golf courses, and we do not store precise location data.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data for any purpose beyond operating the app.
Forepay uses the following third party services:
Your data is stored on Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Your session credentials are stored securely on your device using iOS Secure Enclave.
If you choose to upload a profile photo, we store it on our servers (via Supabase Storage) so it can be displayed to you and your friends within the app. Profile photos are visible to other Forepay users who can see your profile, including your friends and players in rounds you join. Profile photos are optional — you can use the app without uploading one, in which case a colored circle with your first initial is shown instead.
You can change or remove your profile photo at any time from the Edit Profile screen. When you delete your account, your profile photo is permanently deleted from our servers along with the rest of your data.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from within the app or by contacting us at the email below.
Forepay is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, use the Delete Account option in the app or contact us directly.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy.

By downloading or using Forepay, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Forepay is a golf scorecard and friendly wager tracking app. It allows users to track scores, calculate settlement amounts between friends, and view season-long records. Forepay does not process payments — all financial transactions occur outside the app through third party services such as Venmo.
You agree not to:
Forepay is designed for tracking friendly wagers between consenting adults who know each other personally. It is not a gambling platform and does not facilitate real money transactions. Users are solely responsible for any financial agreements made between themselves.
Forepay is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any financial disputes between users, errors in score calculations, or losses arising from use of the app.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile section of the app. Deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Forepay automatically calculates who owes who based on the game formats you selected at the start of the round. Skins, Nassau, and Stroke Play are all calculated simultaneously and netted into a single payment per player pair.
No — once a round is marked complete, scores are locked to ensure settlement accuracy.
